Second Nature Garden Design

Most of our work is in Solano, Yolo and Sacramento Counties, a prime agricultural area in California that is bounded by the Sacramento Delta to the south, the Vaca Hills to the west, the Sierra foothills to the east and vast, open Sacramento Valley to the north.  The climate is best described as Mediterranian with mild, wet winters and hot dry summers. The climate is trending warmer and the amount of annual rainfall is fluctuating. It is clear that water is becoming a more precious resource.  Our garden design responds to a lot of factors but the prudent use of water is becoming more important as time goes on.
